Local CCIM district to meet

The Southwest Florida CCIM District will hold this month’s Marketing Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Edison Restaurant, 3583 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers. The featured speaker is Helen Thompson with Esri. She will present features of Site To Do Business (STDB); specifically the Esri tools that relate to Business Analyst Online (BAQ) and ArcGIS Online. This meeting starts at 4 p.m.  Admission is $10 for district members and $20 for non-members. Registration is required. Real estate show

Jim York, a local Realtor, hosts a real estate update show each week on current issues or trends. Monthly seminars

James D. York P.A, Realtor, international and local real estate expert, Naples Daily News real estate columnist, real estate TV show  host and real estate instructor, will be speaking on issues affecting sellers in a volatile real estate market.

Selling Your Home will also be held on Monday, Nov. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. This seminar will discuss how to save thousands of dollars by timing your sale correctly and the five most common mistakes sellers must avoid when selling a home.

D.R. Horton purchases subdivision

CoCo of Cape Coral LLC in Naples announces the sale of The Villages at Entrada, one of the largest fully permitted properties in Southwest Florida west of Interstate 75. D.R. Horton purchased the 317-acre, 721-lot fully permitted and platted single-family subdivision in Cape Coral between Del Prado Boulevard North and North Cleveland Avenue. Jessica Russo, Broker with Development Realty Inc., represented CoCo of Cape Coral. The Villages at Entrada was originally developed by Realmark Communities and subsequently turned back over to the bank during the real estate downturn. CoCo of Cape Coral acquired the land in 2012.

Contract awarded

Stevens Construction has been awarded the contract to remodel and expand Specialized Vet Services at 9500 Marketplace Road, Fort Myers. The company is providing a 13,589-square-foot addition and remodel of the existing 5,000-square-foot, 24-hour animal emergency hospital. Construction will occur while the animal hospital remains in operation. The Stevens Construction team includes Dan Adams as project manager; Jamie Butdorf as superintendent and Sue Ziegenfus as project administrator. Slated to begin in late 2016, Specialized Vet Services was designed by GMA Architects.

Nails by Anthony leased 1,672 square feet in Bougainvillea Center, 7740 Preserve Lane, Unit 6, Naples from Pacifica Companies. Bill Young and Biagio Bernardo negotiated the transaction.

Investment Properties Corp. (IPC) reported this transaction: Ameriquest Remarketing Services Inc. leased 3,750 square feet from 3873 Davis LLC at 3883 Davis Blvd., Naples. Rob Carroll negotiated this transaction.
