Politicians are often accused of being out of touch and trust in them is at an all-time low – but do you actually know the track record of your local MP?

Our new searchable map allows you to find your MP, see what their voting record is and rank them compared to other parliamentarians.

It is based on the number of votes the MP voted in which they were eligible to attend, during the current parliamentary period.

Bear in mind that this is one relatively crude measure of parliamentary activity. MPs do lots of things other than voting. Some of them may have very good reasons for not voting as often as others: some have ministerial jobs, some have been in poor health and some have taken time off on maternity leave.
