Gary E. Knell, president and CEO of National Geographic, will give a program on “Inside the Yellow Border: National Geographic’s Enduring Brand of Storytelling” 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Esri Conference Center, 380 New York St., Redlands.

The program is part of the Redlands Forum series, sponsored by Esri and the University of Redlands Town & Gown.

National Geographic is celebrating its 126th year. Knell will recounts the journey of National Geographic from publishing its first issue in 1888 to becoming one of the largest scientific and educational nonprofits in the world.

Learn how National Geographic grew to gain a readership of 600 million people from its beginnings in photography, map making and exploration, chronicling the story of planet Earth and its people and cultures.
